Motor mount assembly is in two pieces and is made from balsa. There is a ply doubler that is installed after the motor mount assembly is installed. Exact mounting may vary depending on motor selection used. See figure 1 and 2 for the way I did mine with the AXI 2812.
On the wing assembly, omit all sheeting. I know it seems flimsy at first but once you cover it, it will be plenty strong to take what ever you can throw at it. Excluding direct contact with mother earth that is.
Use light weight covering for the model. Standard covering will add 2 oz to the airframe or 10%. Might not sound like much, but with a model that is this light, you’ll notice it. I like Nelson’s lite film available from Radical RC.
