My buddy Scott Boulton, aka BuildFlyCrash beat me to the punch and scaled up my Primo 40 to 60 size!! Got a chance to fly it at the Memphis ProBro and thought it really flew good.... My only concern was with fuselage flex or twist.... I've been thinking of ways to improve on the single tube design... We've talked about doing a double tube design using a 1/2" tube with a 7/16" tube inside... Really stiffens things up, but presents a problem with the routing the servo wires... I've been considering a double-double design using 4 3/8" tubes.... Sorta like this...

Paul,
Just a thought.
Why not use Square carbon tubing?
Hobby Lobby sell it in 4 and 8 mm outside dia tubing. The wall is 1 mm thick.
It might be easier to work with.

Too much twist. Maybe with some cross bracing...
