Paul, I'm in the process of covering my Burrito and haven't chose an engine yet. Is the Webra .50 a good choice for this plane? Does it come with a muffler? If not what do you recommend?
Thanks

The Webra .50 comes with a muffler and is an excellent choice for the Burrito. The OS .55 is also a very good choice.

Thanks for the Links Paul. BTW, Buritto the kit I got from you recently came in and most of the airframe is together. I'll post some pics later. Also, there was not one bad or unusable piece of wood in the whole kit. This is my first "kit build" and it went together, for the most part very easily.

I'm planning on covering my Buritto like the red and white one in that link, that you sent. I'm doing mine in pearl white and pearl blue. How did you cut the covering to form the water drops? A template of some kind?

Thanks, Mike

I just free handed the drippy blobs... Just practice on a piece of cardboard... Not too hard.

Well, the airframe on my Buritto is done and final sanded. I'm ready to start covering. Question, do I cover each part and then assemble the plane, or do I assemble the plane and then cover it?

A buddie who is really good at covering is saying that we should put the plane together and then cover it.

What do you guys suggest?

I like to cover all the pieces first, then final assemble.... But you could do it the other way... Just harder to do the fuse in my opinion....

I have inherited a burrito from a fried and am deciding what engine to put on it. I have an old OS MAX .52 four stroke laying around. Would this be ADEQUATE?

I know it would definitely not be overpowered but I dont need crazy power. I just want it to hover and climb vertically, some what.

Thanks

You should be able to fly it with that motor. Not sure if you'll be able to hover it though.

Thanks for the quick reply.
What plane do you think would be a nice fit for a OS MAX 52 four stroke?

Probably a sport plane or war bird where power to weight ratio wasn't as important as it is in 3d. I've just never really liked the OS 4 strokes for 3d.
