Couldn't stand having a heading with no posts so here is the Edge I been working on for a long time. Accually I built it quite a while ago but recently got it out and started on the LE sanding and shaping. Couldn't stop there and the rest is history. After a few "curious happenings" this is where I am at: need to rubber band engine to set CG, need tank mounted, need 'lectrikery secured. Scored some 18650 sony's I made into packs. I believe I got some winners! With the whole system connected and a meter in for monitoring, I played with it for like 45 minutes and only .2 volt drop! I don' t mean sitting idle either, I was corner-to-corner ing the sticks a majority of the time. Two 821's in the tail, 5131's in the ail's and an 81 for throttle. MPI is my regulator (6v). Meter started out showing 6.04v and ended at 6.02v. The lowest I could get the v to drop was 5.78 at extreme movement, very briefly. Oh, the "happenings" are the various aggrevations that occur during a build. For instance, while covering I made two left ailerons and did not have enough skin to correct, so now one is white on bottom instead of blue.  . To get white on the top side I had to do some piecing-together, looks like yogurt but k-serah(sp?). OK how do ya add a picture?

As an update. Just an hour or so after my post I got a check-up (so to speak), I failed.... and got fixed a little after that. I have the plane very carefully on my workmate with the necessary soft cloths to protect its tender new skin from the wood. Well guess what happened? The thing folded up with my plane in it!!  Yes I lost it, yes I swore, you know the drill. Mostly things not suited for mixed audiences. My daughter brought me lunch so I went to eat it feeling pretty pathetic and embarassed at myself for my outburst, it certainly wasn't Gods fault. Well I turn on the local christian tv station and there is Steven Baldwin in an interview. I cannot explain the how or why but I am further convicted of my actions but yet comforted in the fact that God is just not affected or minimized, maybe dissappointed a bit, but loves me and forgives the sincere asking. Words accually cannot get at it but if you been there then you know. Thank you Lord for your loving kindness despite my self, and your power to overcome.

I dunno, probably a filter of some kind.
I did put a short flight on it Saturday! It was too windy for an actual "trim" flight but hey it flew.
