I have a Mojo 40 that has survived by hanging on the ceiling for around 3 years. Its still in good shape, built straight with little hanger rash. The reason it has not seen much flight time is that it flys heavy. I would like to give it a tune up and another chance to meet expectations after flying another 3 years and getting much better at 3D.
Right now its powered by a YS 63. Have a OS 46, Webra 50 and 55, and NIB Sato 45-4S that has never seen any use for some unknown reason. What is the best and lightest, and prop.
Servos are JR DS 8231s all around, rather heavy for today's birds this class. You suggest ?? and minimum torque?
10 X receiver will be replaced with a light 2.4 unit.
Have any recommendation for a receiver battery and size??
FYI: Am a old guy enjoying the hobby since 49, and have had a few engines through the years. Strongest 50 class 2 stroke I have ever seen is the Webra 55. Its currently in a club racer, swings a honest to God 9 X 9 apc at around 18K. Club guys hate it cause they get lapped frequently. Am told that "its not possible". Anyone want to bet?? Bring your money and tac, and remote temp. gage. Will come in after running WFO at around 270-290F.
Will honestly appreciate any guidance.

How much does it weight? For a Mojo to fly light, it should be between 4 and 4 1/2 lbs. I try to size my gear so that I'm in that range. I use a Webra .50 which is has the greatest power to weight ratio of anything in it's class. I use Futaba 3010's which is just a standard high torque BB servo. I use a light 2 cell liIon pack and a standard RX.
